The Hospice Foundation of the East Bay Memorial Program gives donors the opportunity to remember individuals with a memorial or honorary gift. A memorial gift honors the memory of a life. A gift made in honor of an individual recognizes a living person.
Upon request, the Hospice of the East Bay will send an acknowledgment to designated individuals, notifying them of the contribution. The amount of the gift will not be disclosed. Some families prefer donations to be made in memory of their loved ones instead of flowers. When you list Hospice of the East Bay in the newspaper or in your church bulletin, please contact us so we that can provide remittance enevelopes for such gifts.

Have you tried selling your vehicle lately? It's a lot of TROUBLE. We will sell your car, motor home, boat, or motorcycle for you. When you donate, you:
-
Receive a lawful IRS tax deduction for the sales price of the vehicle
-
Avoid confusing Department of Motor Vehicles paperwork or smog hassles
-
Get free vehicle pick-up (must be an operating vehicle)
-
Avoid all the headaches of selling a used vehicle - no expensive want ads, no taking phone calls, no showing the vehicle, no haggling over price.
To donate a vehicle, call the Hospice Foundation of the East Bay office (925) 887-5678. A staff member will take your information then we will take possession of and be responsible for selling your vehicle. Because Hospice Foundation of the East Bay directly sells your donated vehicle, we typically retain 97% of the selling price.
After the vehicle is sold, you will receive a letter of thanks, certifying the price for which the vehicle was sold. This letter can be used to demonstrate to the IRS that you are eligible for a charitable tax deduction. It's as simple as that!
