Hospice in the Community
Hospice East Bay is a community-based non-profit with over four decades of experience serving the East Bay community. The support we receive from our donors and volunteers allows us to provide an array of specialized programs to our patients and their families, including music therapy, pet therapy, pet care, and respite for family caregivers. Most importantly, Hospice East Bay accepts all medically-qualified patients, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.
This week we had our annual Brick and Plaque Dedication ceremony at the @brunshouse garden. It’s a beautiful way to remember those we have lost. Thank you to Frankie G @fgandtc for sharing his musical talent and Jasmine and Walter of @mbofwalnutcreek for providing transportation to our guests. It takes a village. #hebcommunity #brunshouse #bereavement #memorialize

Yesterday Hospice East Bay presented the first of many gas-efficient hybrid company cars to some of our amazing Home Health Aides (HHA). Our HHA’s travel all over to provide quality care to members of our community everyday and now they can provide that without the wear and tear on their own personal vehicle. Hospice East Bay will continue to distribute company cars to all full-time Home Health Aides throughout the year. Thank you for being an important part of our team! #HEBproud
