Hospice East Bay is a community-based non-profit with over four decades of experience serving the East Bay community. The support we receive from our donors and volunteers allows us to provide an array of specialized programs to our patients and their families, including Veteran-Centered Care, Pet Services, and Caregiver Respite for family caregivers. Most importantly, Hospice East Bay accepts all medically-qualified patients, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.

Thank you all for making our 2nd Annual Hops for Hospice event a success!

Last Tuesday we had our annual Brick and Plaque dedication ceremony. This is such a special event where families and friends purchase a brick with their loved one’s name inscribed on it and it’s planted in the garden so we can remember those we love. Thanks to Paul Cotruvo for bringing special meaning to this ceremony with your amazing musical talent. We are excited to announce a special fundraising event on Monday, December 4th at Rocco’s in Walnut Creek. What a great way to support the only not-for-profit hospice in Contra Costa County as well as a local business who is known for giving back to the community.
Just mention Hospice East Bay when ordering dine-in or take-out and they will generously donate 25% of your bill to Hospice East Bay!
It’s Hospice East Bay’s Tree of Lights season and this fundraiser is in conjunction with our Walnut Creek Tree of Lights event held at John Muir Health on the same day at 6 PM. Join us for both events or just one, either way you are making a difference.

We had another successful benefit concert featuring the fabulous @topshelfclassics Mowtown…and more!! Our dedicated Friends of Hospice Rossmoor group worked hard and raised money to support Music Therapy in their community. Recently, we hosted our annual Celebration of Care, themed “An Evening in Morocco.” Guests enjoyed delicious Moroccan cuisine from Chef Joel of Round Hill Country Club, cheered at the Camel Races and watched a colorful belly dance performance by Belly Dance! Studio. The Celebration of Care is our opportunity to support our patients and their loved ones while honoring those who contribute their time and resources to Hospice East Bay. #HEBcommunity
